Makiling’s 3rd Album Begins

The wheels have finally begun to turn. After almost 6 years, Makiling is finally recording a new album. The new album, the band’s 3rd after 2000’s MEDYO MODERN and 2001’s PATINTERO SA ILALIM NG BUWAN, will be a double album.
We’ve been writing new music regularly since the last album and now it’s all piled up into a big body of works. Thus we decided to release the 3rd as a double album. We plan to put 24 tracks of all new works and a couple of remixes of old pieces.
We are currently recording at Louie Talan’s Wombworks studios at Marikina. The album will be launched in a series of events at December of this year.
